5 Friday Favorites: March 5, 2021

It's time for my Friday link up with A Little Bit of Everything and Momfessionals

On Fridays I share things that made me happy from the week - a photo, a song, a quote, a beauty product, a recipe, a pair of cute shoes, etc. If it's a product, sometimes it's something I actually own and sometimes something I just saw online that gave me a smile. Sometimes it's serious and sometimes it's silly. I suppose I believe that God is in the simple details of life and yes, I can even find Him
 in a tube of lipstick.

We made it to March. I saw this the other day and it made me laugh.

Here's to hoping March will not act a fool this year. The bar is low, March. Don't screw it up. Here are some of my favorite things from this week.

1. St. Patrick's Day Tees

I am a big fan of St. Patrick's Day and it's time to start preparing. This Shamrock t-shirt is so cute. They have a couple of other options, too.

If you just want a cute green tshirt that you can wear the rest of the year, I love this  short sleeve one with the white stripes.

For the baseball/beer lovin' guys in your life - not that I have any of those - this tshirt is pretty funny.

Or this one for your college boys. Not that mine participate in such activities. I doubt they would even understand the joke. ;-)

2. Sky High Mascara

The Maybelline Sky High Mascara was really hard to find because apparently the Tik-Tokkers (whoever they are) hyped it up so much it started selling out everywhere. I have been looking for it for awhile and finally found it at our CVS. If you can't find it in a local store you can order it from Amazon, but you might have to wait for it to be back in stock. I have to say that this mascara is completely worth the hype. I think it's the wand that makes it so great. There is no clumping at all. It really separates lashes and didn't smudge at all. The best part is it's less than 10 American dollars.

3. Levi X Line at Target

Levi's has a brand new collection at Target and it is so cute I can barely stand it. They have everything from glassware to serving dishes to linens to pajamas. Apparently, it's a limited time situation, so you'll need to hurry.

This bar cart is so cute. It's metal and wood with a copper finish and it's only $150.

This set of bandana printed coasters would be a sweet hostess gift.

How cute are these pajamas? They have kids' and men's pjs, too.

4. Rummikub

I come from a family that loves playing games. Unfortunately, the guys I live with now almost never want to play games. I did force encourage them to play Rummikub with me once last week and it was so fun. If your people will play games with you, I highly recommend this one. I also recommend that you invite me over because my people are lame.

5. Back to School

It was a big week for this kid this week. He is officially a licensed driver and walked back into the school building for the first time in a year. Thank you, Lord Jesus.  He'll only be there two days a week, but it's a start. He also promises me he's smiling in this picture.

Hope you found some things to smile about this week, too. Have a great weekend, Friends.

I've been looking for a new mascara. I'll have to see if that one is in stock locally. Rummikub is a game I like to play, but it's been a while.
