Spring Break Daybook: Thursday 4/5

Outside my window:
Lake Anna...except this picture is from October and I'm too lazy to load pictures from today.  Still pretty in April.
I am thinking:
not much.  It's Spring Break....no thoughts.
I am thankful:
for the absence of alarm clocks at the Lake.
In the kitchen:
I better make something happen in there soon because there are going to be lots of little hungry boys waking up soon.
I am wearing:
red and blue plaid pjs
I am going:
to play round 6 of Go Fish with Drew.
I am wondering:
how I can get my arms to look like Kelly Ripa's without trying that hard.  See?  Spring Break brain.
I am reading:
The Gospel of John:  Chapters 18 and 19.
I am hoping
"to be still and know" by finding a quiet place full of light by the lake to read about this darkest of days.
I am looking forward to:
GIRL TIME!  in the form of a girlfriend and her two daughters.  Her husband and little boy are coming too and I do love them, but I need some girls to cut into the boyness.
I am pondering:
the song "I See Love" by Third Day.  It is reminding me of how important it is to read and study His life, His ministry, His miracles, His promises, His crucifixion...all of it, but that it all points to what I have known since I was 2 years old.  Jesus loves me and the love I see through all of my study is immense, sacrificial and never, ever ending.  Go find the song.
I am praying:
fervently for Jesus to work a miracle in the life of someone I know and love.  Come to think of it, His love is miraculous, too, right?  Pleading the Holy Spirit's miraculous love in this case...pleading.
One of my favorite things:
watching 4 little baseball players (I have one extra this week:)) awestruck at the "sick" plays made by a certain 2nd baseman at the University of Virginia last night.("sick"=really good in Little League speak).  Also, mommy appreciates the graciousness and humility of said 2nd baseman who was likely very hungry and tired, but stopped to chat, take pictures and sign autographs for my little ballplayers.  Big fans of #2 here, big fans.
A favorite quote for today:
"Early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb and saw that the stone had been removed from the entrance."  -John 20:1
A few plans for the rest of the week:
friends, family, lake fun, church, celebration.
A peek into my (yester)day:
