Sometimes you gotta pivot. I realized it was Prime Days only because the Internet is completely doing the superfreak about it.
REPEAT AFTER ME: "I do not have to participate in mass consumerism to fill the hole in my heart that only Jesus can fill."
Above is very true. Also, I like a deal. Especially one that ships for free. In one day. So here we go. My Amazon Prime Day Faves:
1. Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask
This lip mask is the absolute best. I love it. My guys love it, but they don't know it's called a lip mask. SHHHH. I never want to be without this stuff especially in the winter.
2. Travel Toiletry Bag
It seems that as I've gotten older the number of things that I need to bring with me so that my face can be acceptable on weekends and vacations away has become shall we say, "cumbersome". I've got a bag that I just throw things in and then end up dumping the whole thing in the hotel sink so I can find what I need. I've seen great reviews about this toiletry bag and it seems like it will hold all of my moisturizers and depuffing masks and dry shampoos and wet shampoos and conditioning serums and eye creams in its handy dandy compartments. I grabbed it at the sale price yesterday and I'm going to put it to use this weekend.
3. A Plaid Shacket!
The plaid flannel shacket I got from Amazon last year was one of my favorite purchases. I'm actually really excited to wear it again this year. This one is so cute and available today for a discount I love the big buttons. It comes in tons of colors.
4. Orolay Women's Thickened Down Jacket
I think this coat might hold the record for most mentions on Friday Favorites. I cannot sing the praises of this coat enough. It took me close to 28 years to realize that I actually needed a warm coat to live in Northern Virginia. If you are a sports fan and have any possibility of having to cheer for your darling children whilst freezing your bum off on cold metal bleachers, I implore you to invest in this coat. And on Prime Day it is offered for SUCH a good deal. It comes in tons of colors and as I've mentioned before, I have no idea why this lady is so sad because this coat is a game changer. I love it.
Sometimes one needs a glass of wine. Sometimes one needs it quickly. This is a really pretty electric wine opener. I think it would make a great hostess gift or girlfriend gift or mom gift or just a gift for your average someone who might need a glass of wine QUICKLY.
5. R&Co Dallas Thickening Shampoo and Conditioner
This Dallas Thickening Shampoo and Conditioner is my very favorite - especially since my hair has been thinning in the last few years. But it's kind of pricey. You know if it's named after a place in Texas that it's gotta do the job for making your hair bigger. I'm gonna get big Texas hair and save big, too.
6. Air Fryer
Kyle and his roommates stole my air fryer. I thought I didn't want a new one, but now I do. This one is on sale. I'm thinking about it. If you have an air fryer you like, let me know. Especially let me know if it's on sale on Amazon today.
7. AirPods
These Apple AirPods are the best purchase I made yesterday. 43% off. Everyone who talked to me on the phone on my old AirPods told me I sounded like I was in a tunnel, so I was waiting specifically for Prime Days to get new ones. This is a really great deal today.
