Friday Favorites: I gotta go edition

 It's time for my Friday link up with  A Little Bit of Everything and Momfessionals. 

On Fridays I share things that made me happy from the week - a photo, a song, a quote, a beauty product, a recipe, a pair of cute shoes, etc. If it's a product, sometimes it's something I actually own and sometimes something I just saw online that gave me a smile. Sometimes it's serious and sometimes it's silly. I suppose I believe that God is in the simple details of life and yes, I can even find Him in a tube of lipstick.

The Virginia State Semi-Final baseball game featuring my kid and his team vs. another kid and his team who wants it as bad as we do starts at 10 am EST and so right now the only thing my brain contains is this little one who had big dreams:

and this slightly bigger one who kept on dreaming:

and this even bigger one who is living the dream:

and these seniors:

and this whole darn team:

and on top of that there's a whole lotta this:

No matter what happens today, this kid, this team, this game, these friends and - above all else - this amazingly generous God who gave us all of this joy in the midst of the hardest season of my life? The only thing to say is "How great thou art, Lord. How great thou art."
