March Stitch Fix Review!!!

It's Stitch Fix Review Day!

I'm still thinking on some of these items. I don't have to mail them back for a couple of days, so I'm hanging them in my closet and staring at them and wondering if they belong in my life.

Do you think maybe I need to get out more?

So do I. Spring can't come quickly enough.

Here's a look at what I received this month.

Tribal
Fila Trouser

These were straight-up pull-on pants which reminded me of my grandmother's polyester pants back in the day (which were purple, by the way.) Surprisingly, I think this is a good thing. No zipper, no pockets, no belt loops. These are basically a legging made out of a trouser material. A tregging, if you will. (Seriously, why am I not in fashion merchandising? It's a wonder.) I basically do not own pants that are not jeans or joggers, so these would be a good option for me. These are a maybe for now.

Tahari
Cameron Suede Bow Bootie

These booties are really cute. (And also, in case you're wondering, I cringe a little bit when I say bootie to refer to footwear.) I like the bow detail and the heel height, but I'm pretty much over boots right now and ready to launch into sandals. This is problematic since the temperature as I write this is exactly 26 degrees outside. (Insert all the eye rolls.) Still, I think I'll send these back in an effort to will spring to show up.

Mix by 41 Hawthorn
Kelta Essential Cardigan

This cardigan sweater basically kept me in the reality that March is still boots and long sleeves weather. I am not really a cardigan girl, but this had some stitching on the sides which you can't see in the photo that added an interesting detail. When I put this outfit together I liked it. Unfortunately, this look was better on my kitchen table than on me. I think the cardigan will go back.

Market & Spruce
Brooklyn Dress

This dress is very simple and fits well. I like that you can dress it up or down. I really love the neckline and it ties at the back. It also has a really cute scallop detail on the hem and in the back. I have a niece who recently was engaged so I'm anticipating a shower or party or two and this will be perfect. The photo card that my Stitch Fix stylist sent of outfit suggestions showed a trench coat with it, so I found my favorite Banana Republic ivory and navy trench (which is unfortunately not available anymore) to wear with it. You can't really see the dress details in the above photo, so here are two showing the keyhole at the neckline and the back tie. This is a definite keeper.

Skies are Blue
Treeka Split Neck Blouse

I'm seeing all kinds of prints and florals this spring and I'm just not feeling it. This blouse fit well and was lined with a navy tank. It wasn't too boxy or flowy and was exactly the right length. Unfortunately, I'm not a fan of the print, so I'll be returning this.

I love how you create complete outfits to show off your new products. I have zero creativity so seeing yours is inspiring! Thanks for sharing.
